This project was built to solve the problem I struggle with daily where somehow an SSL certificates would end up surprise expired. Certs that have been renewing fine for years will just suddenly not renew this month. But then you shell and renew it manually and its good, zero reason for the automated renewal to have failed. The primary use case for the dashboard was to put it up on a display 24/7 and any certificates that struggled to renew will start lighting up to get my attention before they become actual problems.
The daily emails came into play after that display died.
You might know me from Dallas PHP or Lone Star PHP. You might not know me at all. I've been building with PHP for over 25 years now... not exclusively but almost... it's kinda crazy.
The future scope of this project is to also include the domain registration status because while I suck at managing certs, my boss sucks at managing the domains. There is a roadmap of planned features on the home page. I'm cool with feature requests too if they fit within idea of the toolset.
